Here are some questions we are often asked about our services.
Can I request my favourite songs?
Yes. We welcome a playlist giving us an indication of your favourite tunes, artists or bands. These help us to get an idea of what you are looking for. Ideally we would suggest a maximum of 25 tracks or artists on your list to ensure we can incorporate other requests and have a balanced event. We will of course also play reasonable and appropriate requests from your guests at the function to ensure they too can hear their favourite tunes. Don't forget you are paying for expertise in the disco experience, so we will incorporate tracks from playlists or requests where we feel they will they work best.
How long does it take to set up the disco?
We require at least 60 minutes (and ideally 90 miunutes) to set up the disco once all equipment has been transported into the venue. We can work around the timings on the day as often proceedings can over run and will work around venue staff if a quick turn around of the room is required. Packing up the disco can normally be completed in 60 minutes.
What area do you cover?
Prices on this website are for a 60 mile radius of Milton Keynes, but we can provide a disco in any location for a small additional charge and can quote for venues anywhere in the UK. Click here for more details of the area covered.
How will the DJ dress?
Our DJ will dress appropriately for your style of wedding. For formal weddings we will be smartly dressed with a shirt and tie, but if you are having a less formal event, please let us know.
Can the disco be set up outdoors or in a marquee?
Yes. We just require two 13-amp plug sockets relatively close to where the disco will be situated. If you require us to provide power, we can quote for the hire of a suitable generator.
Will the music be played at a suitable volume?
The biggest concern voiced by prospective clients is the volume level of the music. Our DJs knows to keep the volume at a level appropriate for the guests.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, we have £10,000,000 PLI from a specialist disco insurer. Documentation can be supplied to your venue on request.
What happens if the DJ is ill, vehicle breaks down or there is equipment failure?
We have contingency plans in place for any eventuality. Replacement DJs, backup equipment and alternative transport are available and we allow time for dealing with any venue issues (e.g. faulty power supplies). We have never failed to provide a disco which was booked but if this was ever the case, we would provide a full refund.
